CHESTER WINDOWS
Decorative glass: light, privacy and character
Glass can make a substantial difference to an entrance. The Pilkington collection includes textured and etched designs, with patterns that suit both traditional and contemporary homes.
Compare the privacy levels
Pilkington grades obscuration from level 1, the least obscuration, to level 5, the greatest. Examples include Warwick at level 1, Chantilly at level 2, Autumn at level 3, Charcoal Sticks at level 4 and Everglade at level 5.
Choose a pattern as well as a privacy level
Patterns with the same privacy rating can look quite different. Tribal and Cassini both have a level 5 rating, while their textures create distinct effects. Compare the appearance in the brochure alongside the rating.
Explore textured and etched glass
The Texture Glass range offers a variety of patterned surfaces. The Oriel Collection offers decorative etched designs with a matt appearance, including traditional and contemporary patterns.
Confirm the glass for your chosen door
Availability depends on the door design and glazing specification. Some directional patterns also require the orientation to be specified. Tell us which pattern you prefer so we can confirm its suitability and the required safety-glazing specification.
